Marchwood Scientific Services Ltd. is a privately owned company, the directors being the major shareholders. The laboratory was established in 1983 by Rechem International, the waste management group, to provide an environmental monitoring service for its waste-to-energy facilities. At the time the laboratory was the only commercial, independent dioxin analysis laboratory in the UK.
Since then the laboratory has become one of the leading dioxin analysis laboratories in Europe, and undertakes contract work for organisations all over the world. |
